Today

I was woken up at 5:40 with a call saying school was delayed 2 hours today. - I thought, "Yipee! I get to sleep in an hour before I have to get Sofia up!" - Two hours later I got another call saying school was canceled for the day. - I though, "Well that sucks. Now we will have to work on a beautiful spring day, the only day we had scheduled off during a 2 month period in the spring. But the roads must be pretty bad". - I look outside and my street is mostly clear. I take Sofia to the sitter's; roads are still mostly clear. I go up to work to try to get stuff to work on (the building was locked with the alarm set, oh well); roads are a little icy in a few places but still mostly clear. This totally sucks!

Notice the very limited (almost non-existent) amounts of ice on the trees...
