What happens in the world when you don't watch or listen to the news for over a week?
Tim Russert died.
Iowa is under water.
Gore backs Obama.
Edward Norton stars in the Hulk movie. (WTF?)
California took a step away from ridiculous prejudice (even though the crazy religious morons are trying to change that again; "Let us be prejudice and hate people who are different from us!".

I'm sure much more happened, but since I wasn't paying attention, I have no idea!
